About Me

In October 2006 my friend Sherry McCampbell was preparing to leave on a 10 year cruise around the world with her husband, Dave on their sailboat Soggy Paws. She had just retired as a software engineer and had a small website business on the side. One of her websites was sail-race.com. It was an invaluable website for Brevard County sailors. I didn't want sail-race to be discontinued so I told Sherry I would like to take it over when she left. She agreed, but knew that I knew nothing about creating or maintaining websites. So Sherry kindly tutored me on a weekly basis until she left in April of 2007 and I also took classes at Florida Institute of Technology given by the Small Business Administration on various computer programs. In January of 2007 she turned sail-race.com over to me. Shortly after that she offered to turn her website business over to me and that's how Webworks Site Design LLC began!

However, at that time of my life I was also caring for my elderly parents. My Mother passed away in late 2007 and my Father recently passed away. Therefore, I maintained the business but didn't have the time to grow it until now.
